About

Hi, I’m Tamzin, and ‘That’s Not Me’ started when I found out scammers were using my photos on dating sites to trick people out of money.

It’s a weird, violating feeling. Even though I had nothing to do with it, my face was part of the lie. And I’m not the only one, this is happening to people all over the world. Real faces being used in fake profiles. Real lives being impacted.

That’s Not Me is here to shine a light on how widespread this issue is, support people who’ve been affected (whether you’ve been impersonated or scammed), and push for real change, from better tech safeguards to stronger protections and clearer education around online scams.

It’s not just about calling out the bad, it’s about making space for honesty, safety and control in a space that too often takes that away.

Because if someone’s using your face without your consent, you deserve to be heard.
